Site specific theatre is considered any theatrical production performed at a unique location which was built for a specific purpose, other than theatre, add depth to the performance. Sites are selected based on their ability to compliment the story, using the sites specific landscape to enhance both the actors performance and the audience interaction. A site might include locations such as a beach, forest, tram, swimming pool or abandoned warehouse, pushing the boundaries of traditional theatre and offering traditional theatre audiences something different.
