When the The Drama Merchant happens to stumble across an old recording, while rummaging through vintage collections, of a young travelling bushman called Norman, he hears of his travel from Melbourne to Queensland during the peak of the economic depression in 1920s.

Combining live narration, sound effects and some music The Drama Merchant will read & perform with the recording, and tell a couple of

stories, that are entertaining, far-fetched, and hilarious but have their roots in reality and an unmistakable Australian identity.
